494 out of 949 pass pharmacist licensure exam

Congrats sa mga bagong pharmacist and I am hoping that Rose Pharmacy and Mercury Drugs will open more branches around the country to accommodate the new pharmacists.
The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places are the following:
Kweenne Ann Adano Tacata, University of the Philippines-Manila, 92.97; Melanie Villarubin Salinas, University of the Philippines-Manila, 91.92; Christina Victoria Jimenez Viegelmann, University of the Philippines-Manila, 91.70; Carlene Abella Cunanan, University of San Carlos, 91.55; Karen Grace Pellosis Tambalgue, University of the Philippines- Manila, 91.25; Marigold Ann Caluag Vera, University of the Philippines- Manila, 91.15; Anna May Diolanda Sanchez, University of the Philippines- Manila, 91.07; Zichri Keren Opay Perocho, Southwestern University, 90.80; Guadalupe Cara Jimenez Viegelmann, University of the Philippines- Manila, 90.65; Sarah Jane Mateo Patoc, University of the Philippines-Manila, 90.63.
On the Board of Pharmacy which gave the licensure examination are Ms. Catalina C. Sanchez, chairwoman; Reynaldo Maxlito H. Umali and Ms. Jennifer M. Flores, members.
The results were released in two days after the last day of examination.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 but not later than Feb. 12, 2008.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila.
Registration for membership with the Philippine Pharmaceutical Association (PPhA), Inc. will start on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008.
The top performing schools (with 10 or more examinees) in the January, 2008 Pharmacist Licensure Examination are as follows:
A. With 10-25 examinees
Saint Louis University, 18 of 18 passed, 100.00%; Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela City, 12 of 12, 100.00%; University of San Carlos, 15 of 17, 88.00%; and San Pedro College-Davao City, 15 of 18, 83.00%.
B. With 26-50 examinees
University of the Philippines-Manila, 26 of 26 passed, 100.00%, and University of Santo Tomas, 39 of 47, 83.00%.
C. With 51-100 examinees
Mariano Marcos State University-Batac, 44 of 53 passed, 83.00%
