The Queen of Koreanovela Kim Jung-eun returns on Philippine television with another romantic comedy you will surely fall in love with - “Lovers” - on ABS-CBN primetime.
After her phenomenal roles as Vivian in “Lovers in Paris” and Lulu in “Princess Lulu”, Jung-eun will again be seen on primetime with premiere actor Lee Seo-Jin in this action-packed romance that made history as one of the top-rating Korean series of 2007.
Follow the compelling love story of Jackie (Kim Jung-eun), a sassy plastic surgeon, and Jarred (Lee Seo-Jin), a notorious mafia gangster. The two first met when Jackie mistook Jarred as her sleazy brother-in-law and picked a fight with him.
For some unexplained reasons, fate keeps throwing them into each other’s path in the most unlikely places until one night Jackie saves Jarred’s live after his rival gang stabbed him - an incident that paved the way for them to get to know each other more.
Just as when romance is finally in the bloom, complications for our lovers arise as Jarred happens to be the boyfriend of Jackie’s pregnant neighbor, Lorin (Kim Gyoo-Ri), and Jackie finds herself arranged to marry Kenneth (Jeong Chan), who happens to be the son of Jarred’s boss.
