Quezon City Police Director Sr. Supt. Magtanggol Gatdula has warned the public against ATM thieves’ new modus operandi.
ATM thieves, these days, have gone high-tech as they install remote spying devices on automated teller machines (ATM) to get pin numbers and other information of ATM card holders. Wow. That one is really scary. That’s even scarier than credit card swipers in restaurants and hotels.

Isboy hopes that the recent acquisition of Asian Spirts by the Yao Group of Companies would mean the opening of flights to less traveled routes in the country.
Yes, the Yao Group of Companies has acquired Asian Spirit, the country’s first and only cooperative airline that concentrates on least traveled routes, in possible merger with Southeast Asian Airlines (SeaAir).
While Isboy’s source did not reveal the financial details of the acquisition, he said that Alfredo Yao, chairman of Yao Group of Companies, noted the potential of air travel given the booming tourism business not just in the Philippines but in the entire Asian region. Read the rest of this entry »
Isboy woke up tired and ‘beaten’ this morning, a day after the Sinulog Festival in Cebu. With the two sacks of empty mineral plastic containers, Isboy was sure he could get the money to pay for his fare back to Manila.
Sinulog was a huge success with over one million crowd turning up on major streets here in Cebu. The street festival started at 9 a.m. and ended at nearly 7 p.m. It was lively and noisy. And despite the rain, the crowd remained on their seats watching the more than 50 dancing contingents from around the country.
And the winners? The Siloy Festival of Alcoy in Cebu and the Tribu Basakanon of Basak, Cebu City. Kudos to all the participants and the organizers of the successful 2008 Sinulog Festival. Read the rest of this entry »
Isboy is day dreaming again. This after Mega Star Sharon Cuneta announced that her ever pretty and dashing daughter KC Concepcion can now entertain suitors. Isboy dreams of KC everynight and wishes that they could be loveteam in the near future (not in your next life Isboy).
But what about the KC-Lino affair? Well, Isboy heared this rumor that Lino and KC had broken up because the Cayetano offspring is reportedly very seloso. This rumor is somehow perceived to be true because Lino did not watch Sharon’s show (birthday concert).
Isboy is ready to accept any acting offer from any movie outfit as long as he is paired with KC.
